Traveling the well graded gravel back roads of Nicolet National Forest
a bit of dust on the Airstream from the back roads.
We spot a Mountain Lion / Cougar (large brown majestic Cat) & a Black Bear crossing the road but again am slow at the camera.
Interesting in that there are no signs of the Lions or Bears in the Campground. The Camps garbage container is not animal proof and there are no of the usual warnings posted. No Dung on the trails. They must have plenty to eat out in the woods.
...Luna Lake Loons are only feet away
The songs of the Loons fill the air ...Mom, Dad and Baby Loon who occasionally rides on his parents back
Hiking Luna & White Deer Lake we come across this floating Loon nest with an egg on it.
with no Loon on the nest, the egg must be a prop to trick Loons in laying more eggs.
On White Door Lake we find this paw print. With no human prints observed
...this possibly is the Mountain Lion or large Bobcat.
