Day 1     Mequon, Wisconsin July  2, 2008

Day 3 -5     Koskie Family Reunion & Picnic, Weyauwega Wisconsin  July  5, 2008

Day 6 -8      Boulder Lake, Nicolet National Forest

Day 9 - 13  July  10, 2008

          Nicolet National Forest, Luna -White Deer Lake                 ...Primitive, Loons, Bears and full of Nature

                                   Traveling the well graded gravel back roads of Nicolet National Forest

a bit of dust on the Airstream from the back roads.

 We spot a Mountain Lion / Cougar (large brown majestic Cat) & a Black Bear crossing the road but again am slow at the camera.

Interesting in that there are no signs of the Lions or Bears in the Campground.  The Camps garbage container is not animal proof and there are no of the usual warnings posted.  No Dung on the trails.  They must have plenty to eat out in the woods.

The songs of the Loons fill the air           ...Mom, Dad and Baby Loon who occasionally rides on his parents back

 Hiking Luna & White Deer Lake we come across this floating Loon nest with an egg on it.

                   with no Loon on the nest, the egg must be a prop to trick  Loons in laying more eggs.

  On White Door Lake we find this paw print.  With no human prints observed

                                                                           ...this possibly is the Mountain Lion or large Bobcat.

  Downtown Eagle River

The very famous Chanticleer Supper Club & Lodge for a Friday night Fish Fry,

The Super Clubs are on the back roads in the Channel Lakes.  Most People come by boat.

          Wild Turkeys                                        Snakes are around but see to like to stay to themselves

             After Sunday Mass in Eagle River we check out the Braywood Resort on Catfish Lake

           ...Decision here, Do I have a Hamm's or a Pabst with this Northwood's Marine Bar Tender.

                                                                            ...got to stop for a warm Pabst in the Northwoods.

Day 14 - 15   Boot Lake, Nicolet National  Forest

  All the Lakes in the Nicolet National Forest are this bright blue

        early morning fog on Boot Lake                                 ...later this beach will be full of young families w/ kids

Day 16   Laumbeau Field Tour, Green Bay, Wisconsin                      Sky Box Seats

   Lunch, a great Tour that takes about an hour, plus the Packers Hall of fame museum

                                                                        Not "Da Bears"

Day 16     .......Mequon Wisconsin

Day 17     ...Wheaton, Illinois     ...Home Sweet Home
